Welcome to Haining, October 28-31!
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the 2022 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo, Asia-Pacific (ITEC Asia-Pacific 2022), held on the Zhejiang University International Campus, Haining, Zhejiang Province, China from October 28-31, 2022. Please note that the conference supports virtual participation for delegates whose travel to the site is restricted. The conference covers all major topics in power electronics, electric machines, and power systems for transportation electrification. It addresses a variety of transportation systems such as electric vehicles, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, heavy-duty and off-road vehicles, rail, sea, undersea, air, and space vehicles. ITEC Asia-Pacific is part of the global IEEE ITEC conference series. It aims to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas in electrical technologies for transportation. Haining is located in northeast Zhejiang Province, in the Hangzhou Bay region of the Yangtze River Delta. It is famous for the Qiantang River tidal bore, leather shadow puppets, and early silk fabric. Today, it is a major producer of leather, textiles, solar panels, and automotive parts. ITEC Asia-Pacific 2022 is preparing to provide you with an unforgettable experience.
The final program contains 174 papers, selected through a rigorous review process from hundreds of submitted digests. Our Program Committee worked with peer reviewers worldwide to develop the program. Six tutorial sessions were chosen from submissions. These professional education opportunities will begin the conference on Friday.
The Plenary session on Saturday will be a highlight. We have five renowned invited speakers covering a full range of topics that address electrification of aircraft propulsion systems, electric vehicle on-board solar generation, linear traction systems, solid state transformers, and vehicular electric power trains. These are sure to be insightful and thought provoking, and an exciting way to kick off our main program.
