Language
The official language for the conference is English. All papers and presentations should be prepared in English.
Climate
October in Haining is an especially pleasant time of the year. Typical daytime highs are about 25°C, with nighttime lows of 15℃.
Currency and Banking
The official currency is the Renminbi (RMB) (Chinese yuan). Foreign currency can be exchanged for RMB at airports, banks, and hotels. Major credit cards are widely accepted, especially at most hotels. Banks usually open at 9:00 am and close at 5:00 pm on weekdays and weekends. Participants will have the option to register in advance in US dollars, but plan on Chinese currency for local transactions.
Electricity
Electricity is supplied at 220V, 50Hz AC throughout China. Major hotels usually provide 115V outlets for razors.
Liability
The conference secretariat and organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, loss of, or damage to private property of participants, students, and accompanying persons, either during or directly arising from the ITEC-AP 2022. Participants should make their arrangements concerning health and travel insurance.
